Varicose and Spider Veins Oil

• Ideal massage oil to relieve heavy, tired legs or varicose and spider veins.
• Shake well before each use. Apply a small amount of the Varicose and Spider VeinsOil  on the affected area and massage very gently, three times a day for three weeks. Interrupt treatment for a week and apply again, three times daily, for three weeks, if necessary.
• You can use your usual skin care, afterwards.
• This product is natural and there may be slight variations in colour from batch to batch. This does not affect the quality or properties of the product.

Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) leaf and bark and Butcher's Broom (Ruscus aculeatus) root, infused in Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus) seed oil that help to reduce symptoms of poor blood circulation, such as varicose veins, pain, tiredness, swelling in the legs, itching, and water retention. Watermelon seed oil has anti-inflammatory properties, helping reduce redness. It penetrates deep into skin providing nourishment and restoring skin. Red wine (Vitis vinifera rubra) leaf extract: Traditionally known for their benefits on circulatory comfort and for "light leg" treatment. Lemon (Citrus medica limonum) peel oil and Ginger (Zingiber officinale) root oil: To improve blood circulation and to moisturise, tone and brighten the skin. Cypress (Cupressus sempervirons) leaf oil, with astringent properties. Maritime Pine (Pinus pinaster) leaf oil and Clary sage (Salvia sclarea) leaf oil: To reduce inflammation and swelling and it as anti-oxidant and to protect the skin. Mastic (Pistacia lentiscus) gum oil, that reduces swelling and helps support healthy skin Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) flower oil and Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) plant oil: Their healing properties are effective in shrinking the appearance of varicose veins by helping to improve blood circulation. Their anti-inflammatory properties calm down inflamed tissue and prevent the development of new varicose veins. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) flower oil and Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) gum oil: To reduce inflammation and swelling. Peppermint (Mentha piperita) leaf oil and Basil (Ocimum basilicum) leaf oil: To reduce discomfort and pain and to moisturise and tone the skin.

• Reduce salty food to minimise water retention. Foods high in potassium can help to reduce water retention, such as almonds and pistachio nuts, lentils and white beans, bananas, potatoes, leafy vegetables, some fish, such as salmon and tuna. Increase anti-oxidant foods, such as blueberries, green tea, grapes, berries, pineapples, chillis, dark chocolate, garlic, turmeric, fish, ginger and olive oil.
• Regular exercise encourages better blood circulation in the legs, which helps to push along the blood that has been collected in the veins. Exercise also helps to lower a person’s blood pressure, which is another contributing factor to varicose veins. Low impact exercises help to get the calf muscles working without excessive strain. Effective, low impact exercises include swimming, walking, cycling, yoga.
• Ensure that you are drinking water, at least 2 litres per day, as dehydration can lead to weakened capillaries.
