Myrrh Tincture

Myrrh (Commiphora molmol) Tincture, Ratio 1:5 in a menstruum of 90% Alcohol 96o and Highland Spring mineral water.

• Shake well before each use. Store in cool and dark place. After opening use within BB date on label. Keep out of reach of children.
• Take 10 drops 3 times a day or as directed by a Herbal practitioner, in water for three weeks. Stop the treatment for one week and repeat it for another 3 weeks. Continue the treatment as above, if necessary. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• For people who wish to avoid alcohol, use Glycerite or add boiling water to the tincture and leave for 15 minutes for the alcohol to evaporate and the tincture to cool.

• Avoid in pregnancy and lactation.
• Avoid if suffer from diabetes.
• Large amounts of myrrh can affect heart rate, so if you have a heart condition, get your healthcare provider's advice before starting myrrh.
• Generally, Herbal tinctures are products that should be avoided in children under the age of 12 years.

MYRRH interacts with:

• Anti-diabetes drugs (Medications for diabetes). Taking myrrh along with diabetes medications might cause your blood sugar to go too low.
• Since myrrh might affect blood glucose levels, there is a concern that it might interfere with blood glucose control during and after surgery. Stop using myrrh at least 2 weeks before a scheduled surgery.
