Andrographis Tincture

Andrographis has anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, antibacterial, anti-cancer properties and is traditionally used for the treatment of snake bite, diabetes, dysentery and malaria. The leaf extract is a traditional remedy for the treatment of infectious disease, fever-causing diseases, colic pain, irregular stools and diarrhea.

Andrographis Tincture Ratio 1:2 in a menstruum of 45% alcohol (70%) and Highland Spring mineral water.

Herbal tinctures are products that should be avoided in children under the age of 12 years.

This product is not intended to treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Always check with a medical adviser before use, if pregnant, breastfeeding, in medication or have a medical condition, in order to avoid possible interactions with current medications and potential allergic reactions.

• Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
• Do not use if you are taking blood thinning or blood pressure medication.
• Do not use if you are undergoing chemotherapy.
• Consult your healthcare practitioner if you are taking any other prescription medications.

• Andrographis might lower blood pressure. Taking andrographis along with medications that lower blood pressure might cause blood pressure to go too low. Monitor your blood pressure closely.
• Andrographis can increase the activity of the immune system. Some medications, such as those used after a transplant, decrease the activity of the immune system. Taking Andrographis along with these medications might decrease the effects of these medications.
• Andrographis might slow blood clotting. Taking andrographis along with medications that also slow blood clotting might increase the risk of bruising and bleeding.
• Andrographis can cause side effects, such as diarrhea, rash, vomiting, headache, runny nose and fatigue. Side effects are more likely with high doses.
• Andrographis might cause the immune system to become more active, and this could increase the symptoms of auto-immune diseases. If you have one of these conditions, it's best to avoid using andrographis.

Traditionally Taken: 2ml taken 3 times per day or as directed by a Herbal Practitioner. Do not exceed recommended doses.
